Unfortunately talented safety Jimmie Ward isn’t trusted by most 49ers fans who fear he won’t survive the season. Adrian Colbert the rookie who demonstrated a lot reason to be hopeful for had “a quieted down” sophomore campaign, and fan confidence has paused on him for now. Meanwhile DJ Reed of whom the 49ers believe can play the safety has gone on record saying he feels more comfortable at cornerback.<br />
