친구들, 다같이 오늘 말씀을 읽어볼까요?
Hi guys~ Let’s read today’s words?
내가 보는 것은 사람과 같지 아니하니 사람은 외모를 보거니와 나 여호와는 중심을 보느니라 (사무엘상 16:7)말씀~
The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7)
사람은 외모를 보거니와 하나님은 중심을 보신다… 이게 무슨말이지?
자 모두함께 성경속에서 그 뜻을 찾아볼게요.
Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart… What does this mean?
Now let’s find out the meaning in the Bible.
사울왕이 하나님과의 약속을 어기게 되자
하나님은 사무엘에게 ‘내가 이미 사울을 버렸다’ 라고 말씀하셨어요.
Saul broke the promise with LORD, and LORD said Samuel ‘I already abandoned him.
그리고 사무엘에게 뿔에 기름을 채워 베들레헴에 있는 이새에게 가라고 명령하셨어요. 하나님께서 이새의 아들 중에서 사울왕 다음의 왕을 선택하셨기 때문이었어요.
He told Samuel to fill the horn with oil and go to Jesse. Because he chose the next king among Jesse’s sons.
사무엘은 하나님의 말씀에 따라 희생 제물을 준비하고, 이새의 가족들을 제사에 초대하였어요. 사무엘의 초대에 이새의 가족들은 제사에 오게 되었어요.
Samuel prepared the offerings according to the word of LORD, and invited Jesse’s family for sacrifice. At the invitation of Samuel, Jesse's family came to the sacrifice
사무엘은 이새의 큰 아들 엘리압을 보고 그가 틀림없이 하나님이 선택하신 왕이라고 생각하였어요. 그 때 하나님께서 사무엘에게 말씀하셨어요.
Samuel saw Jesse’s eldest son Eilat, and He thought that Eilat is the king who got chosen by God. At that time LORD said Samuel.
“그의 용모와 키를 보지 말라 내가 보는 것은 사람과 같지 아니하니 사람은 외모를 보거니와 나 여호와는 중심을 보느니라”라고 말씀하셨어요.
“Don’t consider his appearance or his height. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart” he said.
사무엘은 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 큰 아들을 돌려보낸 후, 이새의 일곱 아들을 그의 앞으로 지나가게 했어요. 하지만 하나님께서는 그들 중 누구도 선택하지 않으셨어요.
After Samuel listen the God’s massage, he sent back the eldest son. Then make Jesse’s 7 sons walked in front of him. But God did not choose any of them.
사무엘이 이새에게 물었어요.
“여기 있는 아들이 전부입니까?” 그러자 이새가 대답했어요.
“아니요. 밖에서 양을 돌보는 막내아들이 있습니다.”
사무엘은 이새에게 막내아들을 데려오라고 말했어요. 이새는 사람을 보내어 밖에서 양을 치고 있는 다윗을 불러왔어요.
Samuel asked Jesse.
“Is that all?” Then Jesse answered
“No, There is a youngest son who takes care of the sheep outside.”
Samuel told Jesse to take the youngest son to him.
Jesse sent a man out and called David, who was beating the sheep outside.
이새의 막내 아들 다윗은 얼굴 빛이 붉고 눈이 빼어나고 얼굴이 아름다웠어요.
Jesse’s youngest son, David’s face was red, his eyes were sharp, his face was beautiful.
이새의 막내 아들 다윗이 사무엘 앞으로 나아오자 하나님은 그를 선택된 왕으로 기름 부을 것을 사무엘에게 명령하였어요.
When David comes up to Samuel, God commanded Samuel to anoint him as the chosen king.
사무엘은 기름 뿔병을 가져다가 그에게 기름을 부었어요. 그날부터 여호와의 영이 큰 힘으로 다윗과 함께 했어요.
Samuel took an oil horn and poured oil on him. From that day the Spirit of the LORD was with David with great strength.
하나님께서 사울이 아닌 다른 왕을 선택하셨어요. 다른 사람들의 눈에 보기 좋은 이새의 큰 아들 엘리압을 선택하신 것이 아니라 이새의 막내 아들인 다윗을 선택하셨어요. 하나님께서 왜 그러셨을까?
God chose another king, not Saul. He chose David, the youngest son of Jesse, not Eliab, the eldest son of Jesse, who was visible to others. Why did God do that?
그것은 하나님은 우리와 다르기 때문이에요. 오늘 말씀 사무엘상 16장 7절에 보면 하나님은 사람과 달라서 중심을 보신다고 하셨어요. 멋진 얼굴이 중요한 것이 아니라, 똑똑한 머리가 중요한 것이 아니라, 재능이 중요한 것이 아니라, 돈이 많은 것이 중요한 것이 아니라 우리의 중심인 마음이 중요하기 때문이에요.
It's because God is different from us. Today's Word In 1 Samuel 16: 7 God says that God is different from man.
Because our heart is more important than nice appearance, cleverness or wealth.
우리는 겉으로 보는 것을 중요하게 여겨요. 하지만 하나님은 우리의 겉모습이 중요한 것이 아니라 하나님과 얼마나 바른 관계를 가지고 있는지, 하나님의 마음에 얼마나 합당한지를, 하나님을 얼마나 경외하는지를 보세요.
We value outward appearance. But God doesn’t thinks like that.
He sees how close we are to God, how reasonable we are to God's heart, and how much we fear God.
지금 우리의 마음은 어떤가요? 내 마음을 하나님이 보고 계신다는 생각을 하면 어떤가요?
How about nowadays our feels like? What if I think that God is looking at my heart?
한번 내 마음을 점검해봐요.
친구들 모두 하나님께서 내 마음 깊은곳을 다 보고 계신다는 사실을 기억하고, 언제나 하나님이 기뻐하시는 마음으로 ,날마다 살아가기를 예수님의 이름으로 축복합니다.
