This is Part 2 of our Korean Air Economy Class long-haul trip report, covering our flight from Amsterdam to Seoul onboard a Korean Air Airbus A330-200.
Our journey begins at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, where we walk to the gate before boarding our Korean Air flight to South Korea. After boarding, we taxi to the runway and take off for Seoul.
Once in the air, we explore the full Economy Class experience, including seat layout, cabin design (2-4-2 configuration), lavatory, safety card, and onboard amenities. We also take a close look at the inflight entertainment system, which includes a wide selection of Western and Asian movies, as well as external aircraft camera views.
The video also features the inflight meal service, including dinner and breakfast, drinks service, and the Korean Air amenity kit. A highlight of the flight is the traditional Bibimbap meal, which is prepared and mixed onboard.
As we approach Incheon International Airport, we capture the landing, arrival process, and disembarkation from the aircraft.
Our impressions of Korean Air Economy Class:
- Cabin crew were extremely friendly, professional, and highly efficient
- Inflight meals were very good, with Bibimbap being a standout experience
- Seat comfort and legroom were comparable to other major Asian airlines
- Inflight entertainment was excellent, with a strong selection of content and useful external camera views
Verdict:
This was a highly enjoyable long-haul flight from start to finish. The service, food, and overall experience made this a memorable journey, and Korean Air stands out as one of the best Economy Class airlines we have flown. We would highly recommend flying with Korean Air and look forward to traveling with them again.
