Shimano, Look, Time, all use a standard 3-bolt pattern on their cleats. Other cleats such as Shimano SPD mountain bike pedals use a 2 bolt pattern and Speedplay use 4 bolts.<br />

Despite these differences, the basics of where and how to mount your cleat are all the same. Oli Beckingsale and Daniel Lloyd take you through how to position your cleats for the best performance and least trouble.<br />
